Andrew Ndiforngwa holds a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Disability Studies from Chapman University, where he also completed his dissertation research on inclusive education in Ghana. He earned his Master of Arts in Special Education from California State University Dominguez Hills, along with Education Specialist Level I and Clear Level II credentials, as well as an English Learners’ Authorization. With a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Geography from the same institution, Ndiforngwa has cultivated a comprehensive educational background. Since 2007, he has served as a dedicated Special Education Teacher at South Gate Middle School, demonstrating his commitment to inclusive education and working directly with students with disabilities. His research interests include understanding the personal experiences of individuals with disabilities, assessing the translation of policy into practice in inclusive and special education, and exploring assessments and placements in these fields. Ndiforngwa’s academic journey has been supported by notable experiences, including assistant researcher roles and participation in various training programs focusing on instructional strategies, co-teaching, grant writing, and transition education. He is an active member of United Teachers Los Angeles and the Council for Exceptional Children.
